Princeton Vision Center is a locally owned small business in Princeton, Minnesota. We started business in June of 1994. We have been in the Princeton community for 23 years and are always here to meet your optical needs!

Insurance Options

We accept most major health insurance companies as well as major vision plans. If you do not have insurance, we do give a discount for a non-insurance exam. Contact our office and see if we are in your network or to see if you qualify for any discounts.

Payment Options

We accept all major credit/debit card carriers, and checks, as well as Care Credit and other forms of Health Savings Accounts or Benefit Cards.

About Your Eyes

Hyperopia (farsightedness)

causes you to see distant objects very well, and things up close are difficult to focus on

Myopia (nearsightedness)

causes you to see near things very well but have troubles focusing on distant objects


small print becomes harder to read. Presbyopia happens to everybody and sinks in at about age 40.


an irregularly shaped cornea. Instead of your cornea being shaped like a baseball it’ s shaped more like a football. An astigmatism is commonly thought of as a disease and a severe problem; however, an astigmatism is a very common refractive error


clouding of the lens. Highly com mon symptom from aging. This can be treating with surgery. Can have in one or both of your eyes

Cataract Surgery

is a simple process of removing the lens fr om your eye and replacing it with a lens implant. This is most often a short stay surgery where you admitted and released after surgery within just a few hours.

Ocular Hypertension

high pressure in the eye. If you have Ocular Hypertension doctors will usually watch this closely to stop the onset of Glaucoma if necessary

Macular Degeneration

deterioration of the macula

Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye)

inflammation of the clear covering on the white of your eye and/or the inside of your eyelid
